Unknown Bird visits us lately | |

It was the tameness and the grey colouring that had us tossed. I also did a Images on Minor birds as well. The rotten things were chasing a kingfisher around and the poor little thing hit the window and knocked itself out. The minors then started to pluck its blue feathers out. I chased them away and the kingfisher recovered after a while. The tip of its beak was a little bent but it was otherwise alright. |

Mez Ultimate Fish Guru Asian Hardfeather Enthusiast Posts: 3300 Votes: 162 Registered: 23-Feb-2001 | the mynah bird is sold here as a pet - a very expensive one at that and are known to be really vocal - how true is this of the wild birds? the ones sold here are normally a jet black colour with a bright yellow beak - i really am not sure on what species they are but they are normally £500+. Interesting that they are pests over there - although you also have pest fruit bats! |
