An umbrella-mouthed gulper eel?? It looks like a corded dustbuster!

That shovel-nosed lobster looks like a balmain bug.

EDIT: After checking the photos, lets just assume that they aren't from the recent disaster.

Who can find the most telling piece of evidence to support this?

Very interesting looking characters.

There was a story on the news about how barely any animals, including fish died during the tsunami. This is because they can sense when happenings like this are going to take place and they find a safe place to take cover. They are smarter than us!

Hooktor, im not so sure about that. Sure i believe some animals are more sensitive to the early signs of oncoming weather, but with the speed of the Tsunami im not sure it would help.

Snopes discussed this recently:

Setting aside the pics and just as a comment: I've seen first hand what can happen to a fish when it ascends to quickly from deep waters. My uncle fishes in the Gulf of Mexico in deep waters. He brought up this one fish and the poor thing like, blew his guts out of his vent from the rapid ascent. I felt sorry for the poor fella. But he was dead anyway by that point.
