Went up to Boston for the weekend to visit my GF. Went to the NE Aquarium on saturday, then had dinner. Sunday, loafed around like sloths. Took Valentine's day off from work so I could stay up there an extra day.

Back in the saddle!

Here it is, the one a lot of you have been waiting for:

Racso was GOING to make a breakfast of scrambled eggs and sausage, but I beat him to it. Oops He was GOING to put my dozen red tipped yellow roses and candles on the table, and a trail of rose petals from my room to the kitchen. But when he got to my house I was already up and had made scrambled eggs and cinnamon rolls, in an effort to surprise HIM

After breakfast he said we were going 4 places and wasn't going to tell me where.

Ice skating was first, which I already knew about since I'd mentioned that I wanted to do it.

Next it was on to [link=Union Terminal]http://www.cincymuseum.org/" style="COLOR: #FF82AB[/link], a really cool museum here in Cincy.

After that we went to the Newport Aquarium. They had it decorated for Valentine's Day and had love music playing. When we got to the [link=flashlight fish]http://www.imagequest3d.com/catalogue/bioluminescence/pages/v007_tif.htm" style="COLOR: #FF82AB[/link] exhibit (the white patch under their eyes glows a greenish blue when they're in the dark), no one was around and one of our favorite songs was playing, so we slow danced in the dark with the "lights" from the fish flashing in the background

When we got to the gift shop he said I could pick something out. I ended up getting a sea horse stuffed animal, and he also got me an exact replacement keychain for the one he broke almost 2 years ago.

There's a Build-A-Bear store right next to the aquarium, so we went there next. I picked out a smaller brown bear and dressed him in a plaid shirt and khakis. I named him Walter. When I put the heart in, I made my wish and we both kissed it.

After that we stopped off for ice cream at Cold Stone Creamery. He got white chocolate with chocolate chips and I got chocolate with beanut butter cups and brownies.

Unfortunately, racso got a HORRIBLE migraine as we were driving home. Luckily he had me drive because he didn't feel all that good. He layed down and slept for a while and I made some swiss chicken for dinner. He ate it and went back to sleep, for a total of about 4 hours. After that it started to go away and it felt much better. Even with him getting a migraine, it was definitely my best Valentine's Day EVER!!

Now do you see why I love him?

Class and blahness, I even ended up eating both my meals all by myself in the vast dining halls ( ) But then in the evening I went to a friend's "dateless losers party". Played Halo and Goldeneye and watched Mystery Science Theater 3000. It was great. Nothing Valentine's related allowed. Someone was about to be strangled for bringing a MST3K where Pearl sings a done about love... but then "I like pie" was thrown in and he was saved. *whew*. I had a great time!

Hmmm...well since I was home sick from school/work...I didn't see my BF...

But I had a great day, I was on FP alllll day, watched movies and TV and snacked. And talked on the phone.

Actually, come to think of it, that's all I've done for a week now.

But it's back to school tomorrow, I'm sure FRANK will be glad to hear that.

i had surgery.

I offered to cook a very special veal meal followed by very thin pancakes filled with pear and spiced apple.

But the wife wanted one of her old favourites Lambs Fry (Lambs Liver) and hand cured thick bacon.

Very easy for me to do compared to what I was prepared to cook.

hmm, I nuked some mac n cheese, sat at the computer, talked on the phone and worked......the high point of my day was talking on the phone.
