I'm a self-employed public relations consultant, specialising in strategic communications plans for non-profit organisations. And I LOVE my job! I never thought I would find a career that suited me, but now I have found it I never, ever want to do anything else!

Oh, except I've just applied for a job as campaign manager for a political party (it's election year in New Zealand). I would love to tell you which party it is, but we're not allowed to discuss the P word

Legal Assistant at a law firm in NYC. Ah, 13 hour days spent defending the bad guys... that's the life.

I've got a BA in english, and I'm probably going back for my masters in english to go into teaching (and eventually, phd perhaps...?).

But all of you complaining teachers out there have got me worried...

Back in the saddle!

I own a handy-man business. i.e. floorcovering (carpet, laminate, hardwood and ceramic, marble and granite tile),landscaping, finish carpentry, mason work and replacment door & windows. I also contract for Lowe's, Home Depot and a couple of other local stores.

Jess was a receptionist at a small glass laminating company before she had Hailey, now shes a stay-at-home mom, and doing an awesome job at it.
Hailey, for right now, poops, pees, burps, farts and sleeps. oh yeah and spits up.

"I know dj it isn't fun taking it, I am part of the generation who had to take all of it's predessors...TASP, TAAS, TEAMS, etc..."

Are we talking about the same test?

I meant the TACHTS test for highschools. The one that was formally know as the Co-op. I've never heard of the ones you are talking about.

No cool job to report here; I got hired at the local Petsmart while in Grade 12 and I'm still there to this day (I'm 21 now) as a supervisor/lead in the specialty (fish/reptile/small critter/bird) department. I plan to make management in a couple of years when all the new stores open up here....

I also write a bit for my personal website, though I've been too busy with my leopard geckos lately to update. I'm breeding them soon.

And lastly, I help co-maintain a Livejournal community for depression and self harm.

Yup, that's it.

Logistics Manager. Full time gypsy, I've been working overseas for over 10 years now. Started on an assignment for the Irish Government in Moscow and then China. When it came time to go back to Ireland HQ decided to break out on my own and continue seeing the world. Helped sat up and ran Beijing's best bar - Durty Nellies. It's still there I'm long gone. Was a minor celebrity there for a while ! Taxi drivers used to shout out "Mister Ay Er Lan" when they saw me. Once had a girl run up to me in Bangkok airport all excited "oh,oh, you're the guy from Beijing"! Go figure. Now residing in Indonesia, do a lot of travelling around Asia, very occasionally get to the US office.

Oh I still like to dabble in Quality Assessment for Guinness products

My paid job is an editorial assistant and designer for a monthly tourist magazine, also heading up the research and start-up of a few other projects for that company. However there seems to be far less editorial and design work and far more administration work involved than I first believed when I accepted the position.

My (currently) unpaid job is co-owner of a magazine publishing company. We're releasing our first publication, a quarterly arts magazine, in July, which we have been developing for over a year. Officially I will be Chief Sub-editor, Commissioning Editor, Assistant Designer and writer. Which means I'll do a bit of everything .

I also do freelance writing and design here and there, though far less now than I did when I was still at uni.

ahh, i always see a spot for a plug.

i am a Automobile sales consultant, in short, i sell cars.
Hyundai to be exact, which is the fastest growing car company in the world with America's best warranty, 10 year/ 100,000 mile powertrain, 5 year/ 60,000 mile bumper to bumper and 5 year road side assistance. i sell hyundai becase they have improved these cars so much and so fast over the last few years that they are now ranked second in leats problems per car and second for initial quality, that is out of every car manufacture in the United states. the Sonata also got ranked #1 car in it's class for 2004. isn't it great.

i love my job, drink coffee and smoke all day long, it is so easy.

by the way, i do trade servises. any one in Md that wants to buy a car just let me know. my company also sells toyota, lincoln, mercury, and dodge. if you have fish tanks or can offer some sort of service that i can use i can make you a great deal. so anyone in Md that needs a car, new or used, just let me know.

chris
