If you like any sport just look for the EA Sport Games! Theyd o stuff like FIFA, NBA, NFL, NHL, Madden, F1, Tiger Woods PGA and loads of other sports games, best quality ones as well.

GTA: San Andreas is a gotta have for any PS2 fan!

Another good game is Prince of PErsia, ok, sounds lame like but the gameplay is fantastic (especially on the new one)

Then there is Gran Turismo (Personally I would wait til No 4 comes out).

Also games like The Getaway: Black Monday is a great game, like San Andreas but more realistic graphics IMO.

Just go for games you like really want and I`m sure you will enjoy them.

Also in the UK, Game (think is biggest game shop in the uk), do a 14 day (or maybe its 7) money back policy so you get 14 days (or 7) to play the game and then if you don`t really lik it you can take it back! So its great!

need for speed underground 2 is good so its GTA san andreas, NBA 2005, rugby league:NRL,socom one is good, prince of persia,kingdom hearts.

EDIT: i havent finished most, but i plan to one day

eye toy and sing star are both wastes of money IMO, younger kids like them cause all you basically do is jump around, Pretty amusing if you dont know what theyre doing

My Fav at the moment is Burnout 3 Takedown.

I also have Underground 1 and wanting to get number 2. Also have GT3, Simpsons hit and run which are ll good as well.

CAn't wait for Juiced to come out as well.

SOCOM 2, nothing is better than some good online butt-whippin. to this day nothing beats it. neither of the halo's, not killzone, not star wars:battlefront(tho, its a very fun game) not even GTAan Andreas.

call of duty, red dead revolver, shellshock vietnam- the list is endless.

i don't like the new ps2 slims. they don't hold hard drives, and you can't stand them up like the old ones.

I was lucky and got the new PS2 with built in network adapter. Wahoo !

What are your fave PS2 games ?

So far I have Lord of the Rings - Return of the King,
and Need for Speed Underground 2. Are the other LOTR games good also ?

Socom 2 will be on my list for sure, would it still be worth it to get Socom 1 if I can get it used ? or is 2 far better ?

Any other PS2 games you found really cool ?

maximadriver, you can stand them up like the old PS2's.

They require a different stand though.

I bought my PS2 specifically for Grand Theft Auto, Vice City.


But I'm a Final Fantasy nerd so that's all I ever really play on it. ^_^

grand theft atuo 3, vice city, san andreas
socom 1 and i'm sure 2 is fun
grand turismo 3 (4 out soon)

devil may cry

Also, watch out, that PS2 has ALOT of bugs, and there has been a recall on them. Also, they tent to overheat, so you have to manually turn it onn instead of leaving it on standby.

I didn't really like socom1 for some reason

Some of my favourite PS2 games are GTA: San Andreas & Vice City, Killzone (well at least i like it), Desert Storm (fun co-opp mode), LOTW: return of the King (also fun co-opp mode), Fifa2005 and others....

I can't wait for Gran Turismo4 to come out.
