Where are you stationed, Dolf?

It's still hotter than hell here in Texas, and I love it. I can't go running after 8:00am or before 7:00pm because of the heat. It's great. I love the heat.

Natalie - I'd love to have one of those rainy winters last year when it got down to -20 farenheit. And didn't snow more than a couple inches. Made me miss home. When I got off the plane for winter break it was 70 degrees out!

But this year it sounds like we're going to have lots of snow, which is the best part. I'm goign to try to go sledding every weekend there's enough snow (unless it's 40 below or something) I'm really excited about it! Come on, SNOW!!!

PS - 20 degrees may feel cold, but last year I got my eyelashes frozen together from breath coming up in my face because I had my scarf over my mouth. It's a totally different thing when it's another 40 degrees lower than that. 20 is one of the warmer winter days here.

I know what thats like, we have months that go by where it doesn't go above 0. 20º is t-shirt weather!

Its the reverse problem in Arizona. Once acclimatized to the heat, the cold is intollerable. When the temp dips below 60, brrrr! I break out the heavy winter jacket and gloves. Heaven forbid that I have to put my hand in the pond to clean the pump screen!

Ain't gonna lie, I like the 90 degrees 'til November. We had an 88 degree Christmas last year and I went outside and played football with my little brother and then basked in the sun with an ice cold Dos Equis. I love Texas.

Hey, come move to the WEST coast of Canada. Have rain instead of snow.

Wait... no, we did get snow... but it was in March.

In February of this year, we were having 90 degree weather (and it stayed that way until summer, and then it got worse). We didn't get any rain that month, or much the month before either.

I had never experienced a freak heatwave like that.

AggieMarine-
I was originally stationed Ft. Wegotcha, er, I mean Ft. Huachuca. Now I'm in Pheonix working for Sheriff Joe at Tent City. The inmates are starting to complain about the cold because it is getting down to the mid 70's at night. Sheesh! I tell them that once they have been out on maneuvers in northern Germany in the middle of winter, then they can come talk to me. I don't tell them that now I think 70 is cold also.

I was in germany for awhile.
I expected snow
I didn't expect to be lying in the sun getting a tan in the middle of march.

"I am so glad the Army decided I wanted to live in Arizona. The only snow I now have to deal with are the snow birds."

I used to live in the equivalent of Phoenix, it's called Presidio...never cold...highs of 130F...and staying over 100F from May till September even at 3/4 am...

Now I just live in Houston...where the humidity is awful ]:|, snow is almost unheard of......the use of winter clothing might be long pants, shoes w/socks, and maybe a light weight jacket...we're having a "cold" front now of lows in the 80s:%), and I just bought my 2nd pair of sandals for the year...

Here we have summer, summer, summer, and gonna be summer...yep that's our four seasons...:%)

Aggie, where are you at?

I personally can't wait for the snow and ice to come. I've been living in too many warm places all my life, though I'm adapted to the cold. I'm just glad I moved back to Virginia. You can have California, Hawaii, and Florida (I guess), I don't want them. I'll take snow and fall leaves over heat and tourists anyday.

No, last winter. But looking at it this morning just reminded me what was coming again
