i was woundering what are your personal favorite excuses to get that fish or animal or that thing you want?

No excuese here...Just I need (ie want really really badly) therefore I buy.

i usally dont have any excuses i just buy wat i want!

"My tanks grew and had children!"

"I didn't know that Oscars get 18" long when I got one for my 10g tank...why can't I get a 125g?"

"I can make thousands of dollars breeding gold HM bettas...they're worth $400-$500 each, and if they have up to 500 babies at a time, I could sell them and be rich!"

I tried all of my excuses to get my 29g tank...none of them worked...I had to SNEEK my 29g into the house and set it up before my parents could say "NO!!!"

Another good way to get your parents to let you get another tank is to write up plans of where you're going to put it, everything you'll need, exactly what fish and plants you're going to put in it...EVERYTHING....then your parents will HOPEFULLY realize how much work you've put into learning everything about all of your fish and how responsible you will be, and they will hopefully let ya get a new tank

"But look at that extra 2 feet in the corner! We could get a 6 foot tank, put it where the 4 footer is, and move the 4 footer in my room! Then, if you let me do that, I can do an Asian bio-type to match the room."



That's pretty much it right now, although I'm still contemplating re-arranging my room so I have another 7 feet or so of wall space.

The wood on that dresser is 2 inches thick...and it isn't hollow like normal tank stands

i always ask politely and if that doesnt work i say "where not allowed to get them in australia so can i please get a couple?" usually works but it doesnt really matter if i get it or not.

I ask politely a lot and only in certain situations I pull out my excuses
