Because of that I couldn`t have my BCG (Tubercolosis) Jab until next year ] Might die

I have a cold- sore throught, bad runny nose, head ache, cough. I had the same thing about a week and a half ago and now I have it again!! GGRRR!!!! i feel horrible. my eyes are watering really bad too. It seems like TONS of people at my school are sick too- is anyone else sick? I hate being sick

As I've gotten older, I've gotten sick less and less.

Frank, I think it's all that tank water you've been ingesting with all the good algaes.

It's funny how I crave spirulina since I care for fish . I even got a bottle of spirulina pills . They even have drinks now that include "blue-green algae". I'm puzzled now because I read that to be cyanobacteria. How can that be good for you.

I rarely get sick, I guess the Good Lord decided I was
to be a caregiver instead. For this past week, I have
been "enjoying" my first head cold in 5 years. I'd
forgotten how miserable one can make you.
Now that its beginning to slack off, and I'm starting
to get some sleep, it looks like Susan might be catching
it from me.....

That's what's weird is that it seems like allergy with the ears and all that. I have such pressure in them and the scratchiness in my windpipe area. I feel like spring in the weeds. But, with 10mg of zyrtec along with other meds, that can't be it.

Really I'm not surprised, except that it didn't happen sooner:%)Being that half of my students have been throwing up in class, running fevers, coughing like they are choking, and sneezing everywhere, and of course all of this is on or around me, with them still trying to hug on me I love them alright, but they could keep this wonderful gift

Ditto - still dealing with some mystery virus that took me out and down Jan 3. First the doc said allergy, then he said some kind of virus and we know my asthma makes it worse. Then he told me last week one of the local hospitals is reporting some pretty good numbers of people with symptoms like mine and it ain't the flu and involves a violent cough lasting weeks. Never had a fever, just a very raw windpipe, fatigue, and what they call "paroxysmal cough". That is, sudden, violent, uncontrolled - much like whooping cough without the whoop. Sometimes its so hard I can't get a breath of air.

I can attest to violent - I have a cracked rib and there's nothing that can be done about it, other than to wear a rib brace, which I cannot put on myself . Doc says it can happen with such violent coughs.

He has me off until 2/14 at which time we'll see if this is gone. I feel like it will never leave.

Yup, I'm sick too. The only reason I went to school all week is because we had finals, and making up tests that are a couple hours long each isn't fun.

It's going around here, Zebra. Several of my Mom's fifth grader's have been sick. I'm surprised that I haven't been sick with as many people as I'm around who are hacking constantly.

I've got a nice sinus infection.
