never say die Hobbyist Posts: 85 Kudos: 58 Votes: 1 Registered: 18-Jul-2004	well this week my cousin jez 69 his great grandmother died.And tomorrow the funeral is going to take place i would like to go with my grandma but i dont know if i can.

Saying good bye, and consoling the immediate family, is a means of closure for everyone and, it strengthens family bonds. It is something that months, or years, from now you will be thankful that you did, instead of kicking yourself for not honoring and mourning your relative and wishing you had. Thre were times I thought I wouldn't have the strenght to get thru another day let alone the funeral. But you do, you find the strenght from somewhere. And you need it now and will regret it later.
