Only issue is weight and size.....for flying the smaller would be better...but I still say go with the regular. of the non ipod mp3 players the best one was the rio, according to conde nast traveller, since it will also handle wma files as well as mp3 and still has good sound quality. Instead of an Ipod i might be getting this http://www.sony.co.uk/ShowProduct.do?site=odw_en_GB&category=PAW+Network+Walkman&product=NW-HD1 ^^^^ looks good It has better everything i can think of except the price is aboout £50 quid more and aparently takes along time to download music onto it.

Even the regular iPod is still really small... shrug I guess I just need to goto the apple store and play with them a little... See what I like. The pink and green I belive are girly or made more for the girls and the gold wouldn`t look right I don`t think, IMO!
