that would be "automan", starring desi arnaz jr. i used to like that show and now that i'm thinking about cheesy 80's sci-fi... does anyone remember:

manimal
the greatest american hero

and i forgot to add to my original list:

Toirtis is making *me* feel old! I watched Land of the Lost when it was new! And I'm not even 20 yet!

I have news for you...it was new in the mid seventies...about 30 years ago (first season started in Sept 74, and the last episode originally aired in winter of 1976.

I could have sworn it was new in the late 80's/early 90's... looked new to me then... did they re-make it or something?

if you're thinking of the show where the people go through some weird tunnel and end up in a dinosaur land with hissy lizard people, then that show stopped airing before the 1980's. i only barely remember watching it as a kid, but i've seen it in reruns since then

AUTOMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Moondog! Ive been trying to remember that show name for ages. I particularly liked his car that turned corners at 90 degree angles.

I remember cat weazel too. I remember his funny made up words like telling bone and eleck-trickity.

I also remember the show out at the same time called weazel gummage. It was about some scarecrow.

I remember ABC used to show the "butterfly ball" by Dio filmclip before the show.

Anyone remember the banana splits? HEY DROOPER TAKE OUT THE TRASH! Im amazed nobody has mentioned that one yet. Or even HR Puff n Stuff.

Sigmund the sea monster LOL. Winner!!!

I also liked "Catweazle" (he called the telephone the 'telling bone')

I always wished my bedroom was like the inside of Jeannie's bottle.

And I loved the Adams family too. "Ahhhhh, Gomez"

Have Gun Will Travel
Paladin
Maverick
Gunsmoke
Wild Wild West
Guess I watched a lot of westerns when I was yonger. I used to hate the Chicago Cubs because WGN would pre-empt Wild Wild West if the game went long.
How about UFO? Gotta love a show that has women wearing purple bell boy wigs and uniforms made out of fishnet
And let us not forget School House Rock! "Conjunction junction what's your function..."

BTW: Does anybody remember Mama's Family? That's still one of my favorite shows...
