amazondon Fingerling Posts: 17 Kudos: 17 Votes: 15 Registered: 14-Apr-2007 | I have very high alkalinity making ph changes very difficult. i have a water softener pillow that works very well but still doesn't affect my alkalinity. How can I lower my alkalinity level? |

amazondon Fingerling Posts: 17 Kudos: 17 Votes: 15 Registered: 14-Apr-2007 | I found a tap water deionizing filter today and found that it eliminates my alkalinity. I did a 20% water change with it today adding discus buffer and a small amount of trace elements. |
