bkaryn Fingerling Posts: 46 Kudos: 17 Votes: 0 Registered: 18-Jul-2003 | Here are the stats for my 60g tank which currently contains: 3 clown loaches One gold gourami 2 bristlenoses 5 black widow tetras 12 rummy nose tetras All values are in mg/L GH - 120 KH - 0 pH - 6.3 Nitrites - 0 Nitrates - 40 I thought that if GH was high, that pH was usually more alkaline? I am trying to raise my pH as I constantly battle an acidic pH and want to do what I can to keep it more neutral. Or at least between 6.5-7. Help? All this chemistry stuff freaks me out. |
