Here's a link that Frank posted.

http://www.otocinclus.com/articles/greenwater.html

Things to try first are:

1)Reduce the duration of light with a timer
2)Feed less
3)Increase water changes

There are more aggressive approaches on that site.

First thing is to stop the green water and what is causing it.
It could be lighting type and how many hrs it is on? Feeding, what are you feeding to what how often and how much?
Lack of water/tank maintenance percentage of water changed and how often?
Finally the size of the tank.
Can you get a full water parameters done at your LFS and post the actual figures not all OK.

If you can answer all these questions it will a lot easier to solve the problem.
Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info
