Diet: | Herbivore; The Scopas tang is a herbivore and needs plenty of vegetable matter to forage on. This will stregthen the immune system of the Scopas tang. Dried Seaweed and spirilina flakes are excellent for this fish. I have also fed Brocchli and grape calerpa to supplement it`s feeding. Mysis and vitamin fortified brine can be fed occasionally. |
Care: | The Scopas tang should be kept in a 75+ gallon tank and is rated as moderate on the care level. They are reef safe and a very good addition to the tank. |

Comments: | The Scopas Tang is a great fish for the SW aquarium. With proper water parameters they should be O in your tank. They need plenty of vegatable matter to forage on during the day. In a tank 125 gallons or less only one at a time is recommended. |
