| Old Text: | A great nocturnal bottom feeder, that is suitable to even medium sized community tanks. Numerous fish stores have sold a few similar looking fish under tha name of the Bumblebee Catfish. A common confusion is the asain bumblebee catfish called Pseudomystus siamensis. This fish will get much larger (up to 5") and will eat small schooling fish. It can be identified by its different body pattern and shape, along with its extra pair of barbels (6 pairs in total). The South American Bumblebee catfish distinguishes itself from other Bumblebee Cats (Microglanis poecilus, M. parahybae, and M.secundus) by its cadual tail markings (Black line matching the curves of cadual fin).
