sirbooks | Quotes from "American Cichlids 1: Dwarf Cichlids" by Dr. Wolfgang Staeck and Horst Linke: (referring to A. nijsseni) "It was established that soft acidic water is recommendable although no problems were observed in moderately hard slightly alkaline water." and (regarding breeding) "Remarkable is however that it was also successful in moderately hard, slightly alkaline water from the tap." |
