i have seen some with a little bit of orange? is this really a ghost shrimp? its a tiny bit of orange butr it still looks kewl

Orange? They could be dyed.. But probably not..

I think this might just be their natural colour, mine werent exactly chrystal clear.

Mine have turned orange at their joints an' antennae, etc... they shouldn't turn orange all over, but a little twinge of orange isn't anything bad that I know of...

Yea, my breeding pair of ghost shrimp has the red tinges an' stuff...so I don't think it's bad, otherwise they'd probably be too stressed to breed ALL THE TIME

Dyeing has never, to my knowledge, ever been performed on ghost shrimp (Palaemonetes in N. America and Paratya in Australia). In fact, such procedures are probably functionally impracticable. Opaque tissue, especially when coupled with carapace-wide pink or reddish tones, are overwhelmingly indicative of moribund specimens.
