30 Gallon Aquascaping Ideas | |
gnr4ever8794 Enthusiast Posts: 253 Kudos: 222 Votes: 24 Registered: 12-Apr-2004 | Well, I am horrible at aquascaping, and I have no idea where to begin. It's just not a creative strength for me. Here's how it looks right now - http://img29.imageshack.us/img29/5206/10069824xp.jpg I'm running 35 watts over it, which isn't a whole lot, but better than the original 20 it had. It's for general community fish, so pretty much anything would look good with them I think. But really, I have no idea where to begin. So, suggestions would be much appreciated. If you would like a planted tank then go to: http://rexgrigg.com/index.htm http://www.tropica.com/default.asp The first site will give you background on setting up and maintaining a planted tank. The second site is a favorite site for researching plants. I love the ability to put in my tank parameters and desired foliage to determine what plants I can use. Click on "Advanced Search" in the upper right corner to find this buried treasure. A website with an excellent "how to" article is: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/ca/volume_2/cav2i6/planted_aquascaping/planted_aquascaping.htm If you want ideas of what can be accomplished, go to: http://showcase.aquatic-gardeners.org/2005.cgi Hope this helps! __________ "To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research." researched from Steven Wright |

I'm not happy with the fakes, but I decided to add them until I can get out to by real ones, I just happened to have the fake ones laying around. I'll post a picture tonight or tomorrow. |
