This tank went thru a complete changeover a few months ago when I switched from agressive cichlids to peaceful fish. I like the foil background and pretty much want to stay with the apon (boivinianus) and anubias (and that floating mess of hornwort all the fish like ]:| )

I don't know...would it look better arranged differently? Should I add more anubias? And other thoughts?

I think you need something to the left side of the tank that evens out all the other plants on the other side.

Maybe another peice of wood or some rocks as well.

Hi,
You might want to sit with it for a month or so and watch
it grow in and grow on you.

I would say that you should add one larger light colored piece of driftwood, preferably with branches. It shouldn’t be too thick though. Place it so that it reaches upwards.

It would go very well with the bright colors that your background and lighting create and contrast nicely with the green plants and dark substrate.

The only challenge would be to find the right piece, so don’t rush it (as Frank already said).

Theresa,
looks very promising!!
The only suggestions I have, for the right foreground perhaps something small there, maybe micro sword,
or a trio of cryptocornes of some type?
Other than that it is beautiful!
Give it some time as Anubias are slow growers,
and watch it fill itself in.

Just be patient & watch the plants grow & than decide what to do.
