Boiled silk plants | |
steve711 Big Fish Posts: 496 Kudos: 631 Registered: 27-Sep-2002 | i recently decided to redoccorate my 20 gallon tank with some more naturally looking plants. I highly doubt they are real silk but they are the softer feeling plants none the less. Anyways i boiled all my new additions before adding them to the tank but after adding them i noticed that on one of the plants the leaves became all curled up and have not returned to normal sinse. I figure this came from boiling them. All the other plants (which were the same brand stayed normal). Do you know what could have cased this and how i can get them back to normal? It has been a few days now. Thanx in advance. |

To realy make any thing safe by boiling it would have to at least 15 minutes of constant hard boiling water. Another for using live plants.
