The default setup for the filter output is to use the supplied parts, incl. spray bar. Would there be any issue to using a straight tube outlet following a bend over the side and into the tank? I'm thinking of a scape along the lines of a drain outlet, with a short cascade into a creek... |

The pressure coming out from one point could easily cause strong currents in some areas and dead spots in other parts of the tank.
