littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 | See, that's ego-stroking but not terribly helpful! C'mon, the stem plants are a mess - look at that one stem of L. peruensis in the middle of the vals on the left! There's no excuse for that. And the lilies are too low to be a good middleground plant, and the area around the anubias is a mess. Follow-up question: if I were to replace the two pieces of driftwood with rock (which could of course be covered with plants to make it stand out less), what kind of rock do you think would be best? (Feel free to just suggest rocks, not tell me to keep the wood ) -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 | That's very sweet! Well, I wasn't planning a huge alteration, just to clean up the some of the messy spots, mostly. Thanks, you made my day. But I'm still going to go home and fiddle with stem plants! -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |

I have repeatly looked at your tank since you posted the question and I just cannot find any reason to adjust or alter it. It just looks so peaceful and natural. "Why" Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I VOTE DO YOU if not WHY NOT? VOTE NOW VOTE NOW |

littlemousling Conchiform Posts: 5230 Registered: 23-Aug-2003 | See, I like the vals as a sort of background - you don't think clearing them out of the big lefthand section in favor of some stem plants would be enough? -Molly Visit shelldwellers.com! |
