Many are photos, u just get rid of the background and resize them to be proportional to the illustration, others are illustrations i made of the plants (hand made), it's not as difficult for me since that's my job

Do you mean, what program i used to do it? It's Adobe Photoshop, and well i just illustrate all the elements and play around with them, till i get the look that i'm looking for. Rocks are made in Illustrator which are quite easy to do, just 3 over imposed colors, plants are also illustrations or cropped fotos. and gravel is a texturizing filter that comes with photoshop

The main idea for this one was to leave as much swiming area as possible to make the fish confortable and still go with that oriental look, the colors are worked to make the colors of the fish stand out.

If you provide me with the tank messurements i can do something as a mock up if you like, you have to be careful with goldfish tanks, they tend to eat the plants!
