I saw these on the internet. There flexable jungle vines. There made for reptiles though. http://www.exo-terra.com/EN/products/jungle_vines_i.html
i emailed the company and they said there not reccomended because of the wire inside. I cant see the wire being dangerous though.

Hi,
Actually wire is commonly made of copper which can be very,
very toxic to some fish, to parasites like ich, and to
snails.

If it's made of aluminum it corrode, the same if its made
of iron.

They are right... You don't want it in your tank.

Wirecutters or tin-snips depending on the thickness of the wire..

It would also depend on how the wire is attached .

Sometimes they use glue to keep the wire in place in which case you may not be able to remove it without some major damage to the vine itself.
