Polyurethane Foam | |
firecontrol Hobbyist Posts: 65 Kudos: 59 Votes: 41 Registered: 02-Sep-2005 | I know that Polyurethane foam is fine for background building in my fish tanks. My question is, is it strong enough to use for background building in my turtle tanks. They have some very long, strong claws and I'm afraid that they would tear it apart climbing out of the water. |

I believe it can be coated with a strong cement coating but weather this would be suitable would be a different matter. What you might consider could be very old weathered timber fencing this is usualy thin under 1/2 and could be worth thing about. It must not be previously treated, painted or have any done to it it must by still in its natural state.
