Okay, I am just getting started with one tank, but already thinking about getting another one. The only way I could though is to convince my hubby that the tank would 'fit' the decor of our family room. It is currently cabinish... ya know, pine trees, moose, dear, bear, etc. Forest green and brown. Now I know that my tropical fish wouldn't fit too much into the theme, but if I bought brownish fish, I could make that work, but what about decorations??

Any ideas? I have been reading some of the threads on decorations, but I am kinda scared to add something that isn't aquarium safe to begin with. It will be a while before I would even begin to set up this tank, but...I'm a planner... lol. Have no idea what size the tank would be, and I would only probably do fake plants since I am still a beginner.

Any good websites for decorations or anything is helpful as well.

Thanks AGAIN!

compleatly crazy idea...but what about a tank called "Gold barbs and the three bears".

Log cabin, 3 bears and gold barbs.

Log cabin could be made from driftwood. The bears, well I"m sure you could find some....then add a nice school of gold barbs.

Okay you might just want to stick with a low light mostly driftwood tank instead .

^_^

Babelfish, I love that idea, it sounds so cute. I will have to see what happens with it.

Keithgh, thank you so much for all of that info. I will have to look at those websites and see if I get any other inspirations. Thanks for sharing.

Ooo... what about umm... Christmas Moss? Is that what it's called? You could drape that over some driftwood to echo the pine trees in your decor... *shrugs* The idea just came to me

I love babel's idea!
