I have a few things in it, but it still doesn't look complete for some reason. (that gaping hole in the back) Could anybody give me some suggestions for my tank? I want it to look good, and I want to be really proud of it. sirbooks attached this image: [img]http://www.fishprofiles.net/attachments/424197.jpg"] |

The plants or the ornaments. As it is now you almost have the plants forming a flattened U shape which I like . You might want to build on that...or have them form a diagonal leaving one side of the tank open and filling in the side with the equiptment using the plants. ^_^ [span class="edited"][Edited by Babelfish 2004-08-30 18:53][/span] |

I will contact you PM to see if I can assist you more. I have just sent you a PM sirbooks Keith [span class="edited"][Edited by keithgh 2004-08-30 22:48][/span] Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. Keep in mind a sense of scale...you have a ex-pirate on the right, you dont' want the ship to be too small for him You might even want a few rocks to raise the ship up to make it look as it hasn't fallen all the way down yet. ^_^ |

I know of a store that sells two halves of a pirate ship, maybe I can just get one. If the pirate is closer to the front of the tank, and the ship is in the background, will that give the impression that the ship is a ways off in the distance? This way, I wouldn't have to get a really tall ship. ...Or, I could just get a different skeleton. The one I have came with my old *used* 20 gallon. |

IMG when doing a themed tank like you are you want it to be subtle. Have one piece (like the ship) that will catch the eye and bring the person closer to the tank to look @it. Once they're close the other pieces will come to attention...the ex-pirate showing between the plants, the treasure barely visible..... ^_^ |
