help on black gravel crushed marble???ok its actually black silica | |

I can tell you the chips no matter how small are very sharp. I personally dont think it is a safe material/natural to use it could do some damage to some fish who like to pick up a mouthful of the ba Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. Megil TelZeke Fish Addict Posts: 863 Kudos: 890 Votes: 393 Registered: 21-Jul-2003 | it would seem to me that if its black silica then its probably just dyed silica. i have used a small bag of black silica sand for filling up my 75G cuz i didn't have the extra dough for an additional bag of black tahitian. the only odd thing about it is that some f mine had a tendency to float at first . so it should be safe if it is silica. |
