Theresa_M Moderator Queen of Zoom Posts: 3649 Kudos: 4280 Votes: 790 Registered: 04-Jan-2004 | How much substrate do I need to buy for a 75g SA cichlid tank? Probably fine gravel...I'd like to know amounts for both a planted tank and non-planted tank. Thanks ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Non planted could be around 1 inch, planted tanks you want an average of 3-4 inches. Frank -->>> The Confidence of Amateurs, is the Envy of Professionals <<<-- |

When I did my non-planted goldie tank, I put 1/2 inch stones in that just covered the bottom by about 1.5 la |
