| | 10 G Do All Bottom Feeder? |
| Thursday Fingerling Posts: 46 Kudos: 32 Votes: 4 Registered: 15-Jan-2006 | I'm moving from a 3 gal. to a 10 gal. Is there a bottom feeder that will eat algea and stuff that is dropped to the bottom? It would be sharing the tank with a ADF and possibly 4 guppies. (3 are now fry, but about 1.5 weeks old, and doing well) If this is just to frivious, Please tell me one (If there is one) combination (Algea eater with a scavenger) that would work. If pets are so stupid, how did they weasel free room and board out of us? |

Relax, pal. Besides, it doesn't put the poster in a very answer-y mood if you continually pester them. Smaller ancistrus such as a. claro should be just fine in that size a tank. Of course, it depends upon the kind of algae you've got in the tank. |

| Thursday Fingerling Posts: 46 Kudos: 32 Votes: 4 Registered: 15-Jan-2006 | Could I do a combo of ottos and cories? And, if it wouldn't be to crowded, how many of each? (I know that cories like to be in groups, but what about ottos?) I mean, the claro one sounds nice, but I doubt I could find it in my area. If pets are so stupid, how did they weasel free room and board out of us? |

Ottos aren't as demanding of a group as cories, but maybe get 2 or 3. If you want to breed corys, aeunus corys (green cories) are active breeders, and dont get overly large. I think that pandas are easy to breed too and stay quite small. If you dont plan to breed, get one gender. I would go with maybe 4 cories. Good luck! Males: usually slim Females: More round, have a pair of large anal fins to carry eggs. †Aquapickle† |

The 5 ottos and make very little difference at all. I tried a small SAE and he is having a ball never stops. I also have several khuli loaches they do an excellent job cleaning up the bottom. When the SAE gets too big for the tank into the 5ft tank and I will buy another small SAE. More info about the Betta tank is in the links below. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
