Well, Miss Sheila, Houston, and I have arrived safely home from the manditory evacuation of Pasadena. Horrible trip. But the house is undamaged. Many of the houses around me have lost their privacy fences, but mine is still up. Only loss is two metae :#( But
Big Mamma of the hasbrosus is acting like she is really in the mood and wants to play. My angelfish have grown like weeds and are convinced that I was planning on starving them. All the BNs and the false julies are ok. Could have been so much worse.

I left the tanks running. I didn't turn off the electricity, thought the fish would have a better chance of surviving that way. But I did turn of the air conditioning to save the compressor. I think it was the built up heat in the house that killed the fish.

Yeah and Heidi didn't haver any fishy losses. She kept her air conditioning on. Of course, as a renter, she doesn't have to pay for a replacement. I was worried about my compressor with flunuating power outages.

No, no fishy losses here...but one of my greens is looking mighty plump, plan on doing a water change with some cooler water tonight, see if we can set the mood for her

Anyone ever go away for a week, and were unable to feed their babies during that week? My flipping fools haven't quit eating yetYou can literally see the nibble/bite/suck marks they are leaving on the algae wafers I think they missed their momma, or at least the hand that feeds them
