I'm going to be getting a school of Bronze Cories and was wondering if I could mix regulars and Albinos and still get good schooling/shoaling behavior, or if they would do better with all one variation? I would like to have a little variety but want to make them as comfortable as possible. Thanks for reading.

Bronze and albinos will school together in my experience. How many of each do you plan to get?

4 or 5 of each kind, or 8-10 of 1 kind. I thought they would do fine together, I just wanted to make sure.

I hoped they would be okay. This is gonna be the first time I've ever owned cories and thought I should go with the hardiest kind. I'm so excited about them after reading about how fun they are. I got my 55 gallon just so I could get a big school/shoal of cories.

You're going to LOVE the Corydoras.

Last week i bought 14 C.trillineatus. They're still in the quarantine tank, fooling & swimming around.

I'm so excited, I ordered 8 juvenile Bronze cories and they should be shipped out by the end of the week. They will be going into my 20 gallon with a Betta and ADF for a month or two for quarantine, and then will be going into my 55 gallon South American tank. I can't wait.

No, I talked to the guy and he's sending them out next Monday. They will be going in the 20 gallon for a while while the 55 finishes cycling. I can't wait to see them, the guy told me they are about 5/8" right now. I'll have to acclimate them slowly as I don't know what water conditions that they have been in. I'll let you know when they come in. It feels like an eternity!

The Cories have arrived!!! If you didn't guess it, the Bronze Cories that I ordered have arrived. They are so cute. They're probably no bigger than 1". They have already proven to me that they are tough little guys(and girls), when they arrived the water that they were in couldn't have been more than 60 degrees. Now they're in the tank after being acclimated and are swimming all over the place, they have even chased the Ram off on more than one occasion when he gets too close to them. All and all, I'd have to say that they are the coolest and most interesting fish to live in my aquarium thus far. I'll let you know how they do over the next couple days once they really get settled in. Bye for now.

The Cories are starting to settle in. At first they didn't dare to stray from one another, but now it seems as if they are breaking up into pairs and trios to explore the tank. They haven't had any problems with the Ram or BN, but I didn't expect them too. Everyone at my house loves these guys, the Ram seems to have taken a liking to them too, she seems to swim with them around the tank. In a few weeks I'll have to get some more mid-top dwelling fish though, because all these guys prefer the bottom. Just thought I'd let you know how their first night went. See ya.
