Can anyone Id this one? I have been told its a L002 I'm looking for positive id's on this. Because there are some many other species that look like this one it is getting harder for me to known what I have. I just took a look at the species LDA01 and it looks more like it then it has of any of the others I looked at. I'm looking to buy some more of the one I have already but I would need to know exactly what I have first before I could buy more. I have a picture of it at the link below so you can look at and tell me what you think.
picture is the one on the cover page.

It's a young Panaque maccus (Clown Pleco).

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

EDIT: perhaps I should specify. The obvious markings on the snout of the fish are represented specifically in L002 (other imports with these markings are exceedingly uncommon). Maccus and its relatives exhibit a more classic panaque body, with smaller, more up-set eyes, stouter, thicker bodies, and a larger head/body ratio.

EDIT: LDA01 is uncommonly imported simply because few exporters even chance the region in which they are located--it's more often comfused with L-169 which is still relatively uncommon and more dark-on-light in terms of coloration.

Thanks so far for the input. I must tell everyone that my fish is about three years old. I dont know if that will help in helping me ID my fish. I dont know exactly how you tell at what stage a fish is in life i.e.. juvinile, adult.

Not true. If you take a look at the head shape and markings of your fish, you have a completely different species.

Stares at picture of unknown pleco, spends 5mins staring at the little plecos in the 90g, another 10mins comparing them all to the pictures on planet catfish...

I don't see the difference.

It reminds me a lot of a Peckoltia, and looks like the other L002 plecs I've seen. That's what I think the fish is. This fish doesn't seem to be a clown pleco, because as Jon has said, the head and the patterns are different.

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."
