Read they can really tear up plants.. or just punch some holes. But, some say if fed veggies/etc..plants are safe with them.
This is a 125 gal with Pearl Gouramies/Ottos/Female bettas/Cories/Hillstream Loaches/Glass Catfish.

Im pretty sure they are safe with plant because My lfs had a snail issue in their plant tank so now they have and sell clown loaches in their plant tank. But then again they might not be attacking the plants because they are scared of the bright light.
Well, anyway at least in my humble opinion your plants should be fine

My large clowns could very easly uproot many a plant if they wanted to. When they are searching for food after feeding they will burrow around looking for missed bits.

Also have a look at the thread below and "Naming tank" thread and you will see all of my small anubias are tied to rocks and are not buried into the base. I have never know them to actually damage a plant but then can certainly dig a decent hole.

What I read, many places, was that they liked to punch holes in the leaves.. and in one place someone talked about them occasionally shredding plants.

As you can see by my tank nothing would be left with all those loaches.
