Why do they do that? well they arent doing it often though..i noticed they did that when 2 of them where sort of playing together.
First i thought it was my heater that made that sound but when i heard it again it came from the clown loaches, first time i hear something like that
Some of you who had the same clicking sounds?

yep, just happy loaches, I hear it pretty often but hard to distinguish which loaches are making them

Over time they will do it more often

It's pretty normal for loaches. There was another thread about it [link=here]http://fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Bottom%20Feeder%20Frenzy/67191.html" style="COLOR: #808080[/link]. Loaches normally do it when excited or wound up about something.

Yes, it's normal with Loaches. My Yoyo Loaches used to do it when eating.

I think that every loach in the genus Botia is capable of the noise.

I know clowns can, skunks can, zippers can, yoyos can, cobras can, leopards can, and to be honest not entirely sure my dojo has ever made that noise.

I think you will find it is the larger Clowns that make most of the noises I think my Silver Sharks also make a similar noise.

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://
www.fishprofiles.com/interactive/forums/profile.asp?userid=6741" style="COLOR: #00FF00[/link] for my tank info
