We've been sitting here the last hour watching the albino aenus females and regular aenus males spawning and the glass is covered. A decrease in the tank's water temperature is similar to rain season in the Amazon, which induces spawning. Did your water temperature drop? That's not a requirement, though, especially with aeneus. They can be quite easy to breed. |
