Since your tanks are only thirty-two gallons one bristlenose each will be plenty. They can eat a whole lot more algae than people give them credit for, and two per tank would lead to algae shortages. The fish would be better off without food competition. It's always best to feed vegetables anyways, but I'd just have one plec per tank. |

I would consider a pair of SAE they certainly do an excellent job on algae. Get a small pair as they become older they tend to get lazy and prefer prepared food rather than natural foods. Another thing that is a big concern to me why do you have so much algae. Post a full water peramiters and more info about your tank please. Do you have direct sunlight?. http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

You will fond that the SAE will do a far better job with the algae.
