I was cleaning my tank out, and i accidently buried both of my banjo catfish.

i know they like to burrow, so is it ok, or should i dig them out???

I hate when that happens, how far did u bury them?? Either or i think it would be a good idea to dig em up.

Yeah i would dig them up just incase.... Also what kind of substrate is it? Hopefully it isn't sharp

How big are the Banjos? What substrate are you using?

Adult Banjos are fairly chunky fishes, so the odd quarter inch of substrate on top of them won't necessarily worry them. If they're babies, and you've accidentally buried them under 3 or 4 inches, then it's a slightly different matter - they'll need digging out somewhat urgently!
