I rearranged my 180g tank atleast a 2 months ago and noticed shortly afterwards that a clown loach was missing.
I found him tonight. Lesson i've learnt? When searching for a missing fish, especially a loach remove ALL deco in the tank. I had previously taken everything out except for one large rock looking for him. Last night I took out the rock I didnt move last time and there he was, alive and well!

Cheeky fish!

Before you criticize someone walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

if there is no way they can jump out, i dont worry if I cant find my fish.

I dont like taking everything out - which stresses the fish. I havent seen my kuhli loaches for aout 3-4 months now.. but every once and a while, you will see one jet scross the tank.

Acually, I can't find one of my YoYo loaches, it is getting pretty disturbing, because theres not that much places to hide in the tank... and theres no lid. Hopefully I will see him swimmin around soon

I had the worst one ever. I had lost it for 2months and I had removed all decor as well! The rock had a small hole it could swim up and swim around inside a rock! It hid in it during the day and that is the only one I had survive when I had white spot and is still goin downstairs as we speak. I even removed the rock and searched it with a torch and I removed that rock for about 1-2 hrs! Imagine the stress of that

uh, i gotta admit, I just tore u[p my tank to find my YoYo.

I have only seen the one for a long thing, and there would only one one eating the food.. I figured either he died, or jumped out, and my dog ate him.

I think he was stuck in a fake plant... they seem to get tangles in that plant all of the time. Hopefully I can take it out when the fry get bigger, or they just all dissapear.
