My Profile has all the Betta Tank details.
Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://

My concern as it is fully planted there will be basically no free substrate area. I will be wanting a fish suitable to clean under the plants. I have done some research on Kuhli and they seem to be the fish I am wanting to do the job. I dont think I could have more than 2.

I dont think that would be a problem...as long as you have hiding places for him he should be ok.

I think they should be fine as well. I have 7 kuhlis in the tank pictured below. That photo was taken several months ago and now the only free substrate areas are under the wood. The kuhlis though seem to prefer the crypt jungle in the middle and the vals. It's quite funny to see them suddenly appear out the plants at feeding time. I'll have to try to get a shot of them in the crypts.

edit: I'm also a bit biased since they're my favorite fish

i think the kuhlis won't mind because mine hide anywhere; plants, wood, rocks, heaters and i've even found 2 in an internal filter i think they would be perfectly happy

I must agree Keith I'm sure they will be fine...I actually see mine very seldom, but when I want to know where they are, all I have to do is lift up the driftwood in the tank, and bam there they are flying about the tank, like they are on speed or something:%) Go for it and get yourself 4-6 they should be fine, and your tank is plenty filtered and all, so I wouldn't worry heidi

I also think that 2 would be fine, as long as they can borrow themselves & hide.

I think you can go and get 5 because they are pretty much like an earthworm to the aquarium and given the size of ur tank, I dont think a group of 3-5 would put a load on it. My experience with Kuhlies however has been that they dont like sudden water changes so you have to watch them for a few days to see if they survive. On the other hand, they are so small and good at hiding that if one does die on you, you just might not know.
