I would like to get more of these but I do not see them very often at my LFS. He is a very peaceful fish and always at the top of the tank at feeding time.

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info

Great pics
I also had an Hoplo and he did very well alone.I wanted more but not easy to get them.
I will defenately get 3-4 Hoplos if i find them.
Btw..is that a wound above his eye on the left side?

I know human beings and fish can co-exist peacefully.

Very nice Hoplos Keith!

They are great fish, friendly, active and hardy. My hoplos comes to the front of the tank and sits still, if you put your finger close to him he will shake his tail and thus body as if he was a little puppy, happy to see his owner.

Hope he grants you with many years of great company.

All the best,

James

Really great looking fish Keith, I have never seen one at my LFS. Where do they originate from and how big is the one that you have.

To be honest I actually do not know but in my tank that is about the size thy grow. They could easly grow a lot biger in the wild.

I did a Google for you and found this HOPLO CATFISH
