	New SAE and Otto behaviour
keithgh Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003	I just purchased a small 4cm SAE for the Betta tank (I transfered the larger one to the 5ft tank). Just after I removed the larger SAE the strange behaviour started. longhairedgit Fish Guru Lord of the Beasts Posts: 2502 Kudos: 1778 Votes: 29 Registered: 21-Aug-2005	Wow keith , mine have never done that even on the rare occassions when they have found themselves in the same tank.Could simply be that the sae is learning that an otto has a good eye for algae, or that the sae is exercising a little bit of competition behaviour. Lots of algae eaters go to some lengths to secure their food supply.
