jasonpisani *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 5553 Kudos: 7215 Votes: 1024 Registered: 24-Feb-2003 | Recently i bought 4 Panaque maccus & they are about 4cm big. I am keeping them in a quarantine tank with a piece of bogwood & a sponge filter. Feeding them spirulina & algae sinking tablets. Does anybody keep them?. Any personal experience...... Thanks in advance. http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

Edit: Well on second thought I've read stories and seen pictures that they can take a lot of physical damage. But I lost two when I started my tank because I was naive and listened to the person at Petco. The tank hadn't fully cycled. I am keeping them together in a 30L tank with a big piece of bogwood & hopefully, in the near future, i will place them in different tanks, so they will grow up. Hopefully i will try some breeding in the future........ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |
