Ok guys i have narrowed it down to either pandas or albinos for my species tank (10 gal) any opinions on which? im kinda stuck~
my lfs usually has albinos in, but they can get some pandas!

I would like to see them breed, is either one easier?

I would go with pandas they're a lot cooler looking and Im pretty sure that albinos get a little bigger and pandas would be better

I tend to like the natural look of pandas more than the albinos (although the albinos are so cute), but I would go with the albinos for two main reasons:

First, they are a lot hardier than the pandas. Water parameters tend to fluctuate in 10 gallon tanks more than they do in larger tanks, and the albinos would be a lot more forgiving to that.

Second, you said that you wanted to see them breed. Healthy adult C. aeneus are the guppies of the catfish world, and they will often breed up to twice a month even if nothing special is done for them (pandas require certain water parameters to spawn).

I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash.

True, albinos are hardier and more willing to breed. Just remember though, they reach at least three inches in size, and put out a little bit more waste than the pandas. I'd just get the panda cories because of looks and personality, as they are adorable, and one of the only cories that is more active than albinos. Plus, they too would be willing to breed if you took care of them...

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

Panda's are more beautiful, but Albino's are more easy to keep & really hardy.

Both are very interesting fish to keep.
