I do not night feed I think they must pick up the food below the plants at the rear of the tank behind the large rocks during feeding time. They will also eat most fish that fits into their mouths. Well we have 3 of them in a 72 bowfront, so they have more than enough room. So far, no one has been missing so they havent eaten anyone...but come to think of it all that is maybe within eating range would be the cories, and we just put some endlers in this tank.. but none of them are missing. So i was just more curious as to everyone else's experiences with them. 72 gallon bowfront:Tanganyikan Lake set up 75 gallon: A. My two pictus cats are very active but don't shoal together at all even though the second was bought to be a companion for the first. Instead they shoal with the loaches. I usually put excess livebearers in the tank and they slowly disappear. Just the nature of these fish. Past 4 inches they have started growing very slowly. Koi Empty chairs at empty tables, the room silent, forlorn. |
