Pictus and Cardinals? | |
truestar Enthusiast Young Pup Posts: 233 Kudos: 92 Votes: 147 Registered: 23-Aug-2007 | I recently got another tank to move my Tiger Barbs to, so I have started building up a school of Cardinal Tetras in my 55 gallon. I was looking for interesting bottom dwellers to add and really like the Pictus. However, I have heard that they will eat smaller fish like Neon Tetras, although Cardinals are slightly bigger they are still small, so my question is would a Pictus make a snack out of my Cardinal school? I'm guessing it would, so I'm glad I don't have my heart set on having it, but just thought I'd ask. |

I am not so sure how small you are talking about but they have big mouths. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
