Spotted BN pleco | |

First off, i wanted to know the SciName or number of this Ancistrus. Second, i want to know how many (MAX) can fit in a 30 or 40 gallon tank with room for other fish. Third, i would want to know any detailed instructions on how to breed this particular fish. Whether it be from a Web Page, an article, or a reply, i would greatly appreciate the advice. Thanks in advance! Finnally, i would love to know if my BN will ever get used to things, like hyper kuhlis, so that he will be more comfortable around me and show up more. Here are some pix to help determine what SciName is. Really, theyre just regular spotted BNs. Note= The pix are a bit yellowish, but i assure you, it is only the gravel and the fake DW in the tank. The spots are actually white. 1 2 3 4 ><> ~=!Vote Today!=~ <>< -----> View My Dragons <----- |

It has quite a bit of information in it. http://www.planetcatfish.com/cotm/cotm.php?article_id=112 From my experience and also from the site above, Male BN tend to set up camp and hide most of the time while the females will be much more active. In a 30-40 gallon tank I am guessing you could get away with 1 male and a couple of females. Make sure you have plenty of hiding spots. Here is a link to my thread. It is my 55G planted tank. There are some pictures of my BN plecos. http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/threads/35345.3.htm?72# 19G Container Pond [IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/Wingsdlc/Ric |
