keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | I have just discovered by this photo I have a male BN I hope one of the other Albinos is female. Can the Albino and the common BN cross breed? Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Young male Albino Bristlenose 11-08 Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. A brown male and two albino females. They produced a wealth of babies. All were brown. 19G Container Pond [IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/Wingsdlc/Ric |

Wet Pet Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 2 Votes: 0 Registered: 15-Nov-2008 | I breed bn pleco's. My original parent bn's are regular fin and long fin with the albino gene I get around 50 % albino fry. if you are looking for albino fry you will need two fish with the albino gene if one of them does not have the albino gene you will need to breed the fry from the reg X alb. back to the albino parent. for breeding conditions you need 72 deg. temp and lots of water changes I do 75% every oher day. Two females to one male is a good ratio to start with. Good Luck |

I might have to try that after I make the move into the new house. 19G Container Pond [IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/Wingsdlc/Ric |
