for some reason i had two out of three clown loaches die and i dont know why. But the one guy is all by himself. he seems to be doing fine, hes always out havnt had time to go get to more. but he has become new friends with my BN pleco they seem to hang together all the time.

weird, no?

im starting to think hes just fine by himself with my bn

Your clown is hanging out with the wrong crowd. He should have at least 2 other clown friends. How big is your tank? Reading this post reminded me of the time i got my short bodied clown. I was at the fish store when my dad said there was a nice looking clown all by itself. My dad say he wanted to buy it, i told him not to since he has no other clowns. He said it looked happy by itself. I bought it then. How long did you have the clowns for before they died? Did they appear to have a bubble on their side right where the stomach is?. Did they have white spots?

2 weeks at the most

and i cant remember about hte bubble but no spots, it was very sudden and out of the blue. they died within 2days of eachother

this guy seems very very active and no signs of death as of yet

I have one small 1ins+ CL in the Betta tank to remove the snails that came in the gravel, and they are the best of mates the CL follows the Betta and get along happly together.
